Well, here I am, blogging about the random and the mundane in my life. I was with Spaces for 2 1/2 years. Then one day a couple of weeks ago I couldn't get into my site. So I emailed them.
They responded 3 days later saying that my site was shut down due to inappropriate material and I hadn't responded to their warnings.
Kinda hard to respond when I never received them.... I emailed them a couple more times about what I posted that got their panties in a bind. Still haven't heard from them.....
Those that know me from Spaces know that I have never published
ANYTHING inappropriate. Not even remotely risque'. No, I'm pretty much your run-of-the-mill blogger who blogs about the random and mundane.
I thought about just bagging blogging altogether, but there was this little itch, this little tug, to continue blogging about the random and the mundane.
Believe me; my life is pretty mundane. Oh, I try to make in interesting by throwing in stories about my husband and kids. But I am not a MommyBlogger, nor do I aspire to become one.
Don't get me wrong. I love my kids. But there's more to me than them. In the coming posts I'll introduce them to you.
What I'm most disappointed about with the loss of Spaces is 2 1/2 years of archived posts. There's a lot of history that just went up in smoke. Things like our 10th wedding anniversary, my 411, the Westroads Mall shooting in December, the suicide of my father and subsequent posting a year later, nuggets from Jenna as she's gotten older, the 20th anniversary of the drowning of my friend from grade school, rants about my husband, and just random ranting in general.
Here's my chance to start over and create something new.....but there was nothing wrong with the old.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right?
